Katerina has worked in a large number of companies in Greece and Cyprus, prior to founding KappaSigma Partners, having a career of more than 20 years in the real estate industry.
Katerina has a strong academic background and long term experience in the real estate sector, with a special expertise in valuations and property management
Prior to founding KappaSigma Partners and for the largest part of her career, Katerina was head of the department of Valuation studies & Project management at a large real estate valuation and consultancy firm in Athens, subsequently moving to the Asset Management department of OTEestate, a subsidiary of the Greek Telecoms Organisation with a large and varies portfolio of around 2300 assets (office, logistics, retail, plots of land, telecoms installations, leisure etc.) in all parts of Greece.
Katerina led successfully significant projects, involving valuations for IFRS purposes, sales, investments or other purposes, feasibility studies, market research, reporting, budgeting, renovation projects, sales, rentals, calculation of rateable values assessment. Got involved in numerous other projects such as a REIT formation project, business planning for OTEestate etc.
Katerina holds a B.Sc.(Hons) in Construction Management and an M.Sc. In Property Investment & Development from the University of Manchester. She is also a holder of a Diploma in Civil Engineering and a Diploma in Surveying. Katerina is a a member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) - the landmark institution for property professionals, since year 2000 and is also a member of CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building). Furthermore, she is a member of the RICS Telecoms Forum and registered valuer at the the Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 317). Katerina stays alerts on the developments that may have an impact on property and participates in seminars, events relative to the real estate industry and as a speaker at international conferences.
